Homeless and United Methodist Homeless and United Methodist
Ask members of Hobson Church about Darrell “Cowboy” Sprung, and they describe him as church caretaker, unofficial janitor, chairman of hospitality ministries, assistant to the pastor, sometimes-cook and resident theologian.
He is also homeless.

Ask Cowboy about Hobson, and he says the Nashville, Tenn., church is his home, and its members are the closest thing he has to a family.
