Leaders can benefit from free webinars
Stewardship and adult learners are subjects of free, one-hour webinars scheduled by the General Board of Discipleship.
The Rev. Ken Sloane, the agency's director of stewardship, will lead three programs, each beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT.
"Are You Raising Funds or Raising Generous Disciples?," Thursday, July 12: Shifting the focus from the church's need for money to people's need to give.
"Five Key Elements in Successful Stewardship Strategies," Thursday, Sept. 13: Elements present in churches that do stewardship well.
"In the Financial Homestretch: Ending the Year Strong," Thursday, Nov. 8: Celebrate at the end of the financial year.

The webinars for leaders of adult classes and groups include a three-part series on adult learners. The leader is Carol Krau, the agency's director of adult formation and discipleship. Each begins at 7:30 p.m. CT.
