MIAs No More

War is about orphans and widows. Doesn't matter what kind of war it is, a war of terrorism or combat between nations... The war never ends for those who lose loved ones. That may be even truer when the dead and missing are never found and questions never answered. When I say "M.I.A.", you probably think of those missing in Vietnam. But tens of thousands of American families relate that term to World War II. If that seems a lifetime ago now, it was. (November 13, 2002)
